“Three Important Questions”

John 13:33 – 14:23

Some of the greatest truths of the bible were given in answer to questions.

1. 13:36. Peter’s question: “Where are you going?”

14:2. The answer: “In My Father’s house are many mansions…I go to prepare a place for you.”

In the answer to Peter’s question we have the wonderful truth that each believer has a place in the Father’s house, prepared by Christ!

2. 14:5. Thomas’ question: “How can we know the way?”

14:6. The answer: “I am the way…no one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Because of Thomas’ question we know, with Peter, that “..there is no other name under heaven…by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12).

3. 14:22. Judas’ question: “Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, ‘Lord, how will you manifest Yourself to us..’?”

14:23. The answer: “...We will come to him and make our home with him.”

Because of Judas’ question we know that we are the “...the temple of God ...” (I Corinthians 3:16).
