Things Assured By Christ’s Resurrection

1. He truly is the Son of God.

    Romans 1:4  “..declared to be the Son of God...by the resurrection                 from the dead.”

    Matthew 28:18-20  “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and

        earth, go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...I am with

        you always to the end of the age.”

2. The penalty for sin truly has been “paid in full”.

    1 Corinthians 15:1-20  “..if Christ is not risen, ...you are still in your                sins....But now Christ is risen from the dead..”

3. We truly have a “blessed hope”. (Titus 2:13)

    1 Peter 1:3  “..has begotten us again to a living hope through the

       resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..”

    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18  “..if we believe that Jesus died and rose

       again, even so...” 

4. The world truly will be judged by Christ.

    Acts 17:30-31  “..He has appointed a day on which He will judge the

       world....He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from

       the dead.”
