“The New Has Come”

2 Corinthians 5:14-21  “..if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation....all

     things have become new.”   (“the new has come”).

    Galatians 5:16 “..in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor un-                  circumcision avails anything, but a new creation .”

The new:

1. A new, personal relationship with Christ.

     1 Corinthians 5:17  “..if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation..”

     Philippians 3:7-10  “..that I may know Him ...”

     Matthew 7:22 -23  “Many will say to me..Lord, Lord....then I will                   declare to them, I never knew you..”

2. New desires and motives.

    2 Corinthians 5:14  “For the love of Christ constrains us..”

      Romans 5:5  “..the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by

          the Holy Spirit..”

    Galatians 5:22  “..the fruit of the Spirit is love..”

    1 Corinthians 13:1-3  “...but have not love, I am  nothing.”                                                                                              

    Acts 9:6  “..Lord what do You want me to do!
