The Glory Of God

A.

It was the glory of God residing in the Holy Of Holies that made Israel

different from all other nations!

Exodus 40:34-35  “..the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.”

1 Kings 7:51; 8:10-11  “..the glory of God filled the house of the Lord.”

B.

It is the glory of God that makes Christians different from all other people!

Ephesians 2:19-22  “Now , therefore, you are...members of the household

    of God, having been built on the foundation...the whole building grows

    into a holy temple in the Lord....a habitation of God..”

1 Corinthians 3:16  “Do you not know that you (plural) are the temple of

    God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

2 Corinthians 3:7-11, 18  “But if the ministry of death, written and               engraved on stones was glorious....how will the ministry of the Spirit

   not be more glorious...much more glorious...but we all...are being

   transformed into the same image from glory to glory..”.

2 Corinthians 4:3-7  “...For it is God...who has shone in our hearts to give

   the light of the knowledge of the glory of God...”. (Acts 6:15).

1 Peter 2:9  “But you are a chosen generation...His own special people,

   that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of            darkness into His marvelous light.

It is a glorious thing to be a member of the household of God now,

“but we ain’t seen nothing yet” compared to what it will be!

Romans 8: 18  “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are

   are not worthy to be compared with glory which shall be revealed in us”
