“Give Thanks”

Psalm 100:1-5 “Be thankful to Him..”

1. The circumstances of our birth.

Acts 17:24-26 “..He gives to all life, breath, and all things.”

“And He has made from one blood every nation...and has...

determined the boundaries of their habitation.”

If it were not for God, we would never have breathed.

It is by God’s grace that we were born in a nation influenced by

the Gospel.

2. God’s goodness to us before we received Him as our Savior.

Romans 2:4 “...the goodness of God leads you to repentance”

“His goodness..

”forbearance”

“longsuffering”

If it were not for God’s goodness in sparing our lives many times

we would have died unsaved.

3. Our salvation.

Titus 3:3-5 “..But when the kindness and love of God appeared...

not by works of righteousness we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us..”

If it were not for God’s love in sending His Son to pay the penalty

for our sins we would be facing that penalty.

4. Our hope for the future.

Ephesians 2:11-13 “Therefore remember that...you were without

Christ...having no hope..”

Titus 2:13 “Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing

of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.”
