“Free Indeed”

John 8:30-36 “..if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

A. Free from the bondage of sin.

John 8:34 “..whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”

Ephesians 2:1-1-3 “..the spirit who now works in the sons of

disobedience.” “..were by nature children of wrath..”

Romans 6:17-18 “But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin...having been set free..”

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 “And such were some of you. But you were

washed...sanctified...justified...”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive

our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighreouness.”

B. Free from the bondage of religion.

Hebrews 2:14-15 “..and release those who through fear of death were

all their lifetime subject to bondage.”

C. Free to be in the center of God’s perfect will.

Ephesians 2:4-10 “But God...made us alive...”

“..created for good works..”

Romans 12:1-2 “..present you bodies to God....that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
