"Eagerly Waiting"

Romans 8:18-25

8:23 "we groan ...eagerly waiting for...the redemption of our body"

. 1. 8:18, "the glory which shall be revealed in us"

Philippians 3:20-21 "we eagerly wait for the Savior...who will transform our lowly body (because of the fall), that it may be conformed to His glorious body"

1Corinthians 15:42 - 43
a. "It is sown in corruption" (the death process is at work in the human body).

"It is raised in incorruption"
Revelation 21:4 "no more death...no more pain"

b. "It is sown in dishonor" (of little value, "For what is your life?
It is even a vapor that appears for a little time", James 4:14).

"It is raised in glory" ("our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory", 2 Corinthians 4:17)

c. "It is sown in weakness" (without Me you can do nothing", John 15:5).

d. "It is raised in power" ("we shall be like Him", 1 John 3:2).

2. 8:21, "the creation itself will be delivered from the bondage of decay into the glorious liberty of the children of God".
We will finally be free from all earthly limitations!

3. 8:25, "we eagerly wait for it with perseverance".
It will be worth the wait!
