“Do Not Disturb”
1. Matthew 2:3 “When Herod the king heard these things he was troubled and all Jerusalem with him.”
They were troubled because they did not want their lives disturbed.
They did not realize that by rejecting Him their lives would be greatly
disturbed!
Matthew 23: 32-36 “Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will
come upon this generation.”
Matthew 24:2 “..assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left
here upon another..”
2. The same thing will be true of those living at the end of this age.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 “For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then
sudden destruction comes upon them..”
2 Peter 3:1- 4 “...scoffers will come in the last days....saying, ‘Where
is the promise of His coming...all things continue as they were from
the beginning..”
3. The same thing is true of those today who do not want their lives disturbed by receiving Jesus as their Savior. He stands at their heart’s
door and knocks and waits for them to open the door.
They do not realize that by refusing to let Him in, their lives will be
greatly disturbed for all eternity!
1 John 5:12 “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the
Son of God does not have life.”
