“Gratitude With An Attitude”
1. True gratitude produces a joyful attitude of thanksgiving.
Deuteronomy 28:15, 45- 49. “Because you did not serve the Lord..with
joy and gladness of heart for the abundance of all things, therefore you
shall serve your enemies”
Psalm 92:1- 4 “It is good to give thanks to the Lord and sing praises to
Your name”
Psalm 95:1-2 “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms”.
Psalm 100 “Make a joyful shout to the Lord...serve the Lord with gladness...be thankful to Him and bless His name, for the Lord is good”
2. Blessings from the Lord which should cause us to be thankful to Him and serve Him with joy and gladness.
Psalm 103:1-5 “Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits:
“Who forgives all your iniquities” (verse 12)
“Who heals all your diseases” (mends our maladies, verse 14)
“Who redeems your life from destruction” (the pit; Luke 10:20)
“Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies”
“Who satisfies your mouth (fills your cheeks) with good things”
“Your youth is renewed like the eagle’s”. (keeps us young at heart)
