“A Time To Speak”

Ecclesiastes 3:7 “A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.”

Times when we should speak:

1. To be saved.

Romans 10:6-13

10:9 “..if you confess with your mouth..”

10:12 “..is rich to all who call upon Him.”

10:13 “..whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be

saved.”

2. To confess Him before men.

Luke 12:8 “..whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of man

also will confess before the angels of God.”

Philippians 2:9-11 “..at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow...

and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.”

3. To receive forgiveness when we sin.

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us..

Hosea 14:2 “Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him..

4. To be reconciled to others.

a. When we are at fault.

Matthew 5:23-24 “..first be reconciled to your brother..”

b. When it is the others fault.

Matthew 18:15 “..go and tell him his fault..”
