A Time For Action

A. For salvation.

2 Corinthians 6:2 “..now is the accepted time, now is the day of

salvation.”

1. The example of Felix. (Acts 24:24-27)

a. 24:24 “..he sent for Paul and heard him concerning faith in Christ”

24:25 “..he (Paul) reasoned with him about..

1). “righteousness”

Romans 3:10 “..there is none righteous, no, not one..”

Revelation 21:27 “..there shall by no means enter into it

anything that defiles..”

2). “self control”

Jeremiah 13:23 “Can the Ethiopian change his skin...then may

you also do good..”

3). “judgment to come”

Revelation 20:11-15 “..the dead were judged...by the things

written in the books..each one according to his works.”

b. Felix’s response.

1). Acts 24:25 “..Felix was afraid (became alarmed, shaken)

2). “Go away for now, when I have a convenient time I will call for you.” “But after two years...”
