“A Bad Investment”
Isaiah 55:1-3 “Why do you spend…for what does not satisfy?”
Man was created for fellowship with God. When Adam and Eve chose to disobey God they became sinners and their fellowship with God was broken. Every person born into the world is born with a void in their life that can only be satisfied by being in fellowship with God…Isaiah described that void as a hunger and thirst of soul.
Isaiah 55:1-3 “Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters…” “Incline your ear and come to Me”
John 4:1-18 “..whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.” (This woman had mad six “bad investments”)
John 7:37-39 “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
Revelation 21:6 “I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely”
Isaiah 55:1-3 “Come, buy and eat. Yes, come buy wine and milk without money and without price.
John 6:32-35 “..I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger..”
Jeremiah 2:11-13 “..My people have changed their Glory for what does not profit…They have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.”
